Squishy Babies and Ripe Watermelons

Brett took this picture of Izzy today while she was enjoying an ice cream cone on the porch. I love this girl! I love her one dimple, her sparkly blue eyes, her sassy little grin. She's trouble but she's also the sweetest thing...when she wants to be, and when you give her sugar of course! Izzy is getting big so fast. She's FINALLY talking and she loves to dance and chase the big kids. She also loves men, like our neighbor Chad. Speaking of, today in nursery we decided that a movie should be made called "There's Something about Chad" because ALL the babies adore him. Chad, if I should go into labor before my help arrives I'll be dropping this sweet little girl off to ya so be around will ya!?

This weekend Brett did the traditional painting of the preggo wife's belly. When I was preggers with Anna it was a turtle shell, with Quinner I was jack-o-lantern bellied, and with Izzy Brett made a Christmas ornament. This time, a cross section of a watermelon. It's a very ripe, very firm watermelon I might add!

Izzy wasn't quite sure what was going on, but she loved watching the painting!

This is all you're getting of the belly Caralee. If we took profile shots you'd realize how big Bradshaw women get and you might never wanna do this. And Tina, I ought to send you a vat of cocoa butter because if that baby has genes like his/her Daddy then you're in trouble-Carson was a fatty! Yeah, look at this thing! And I still have a few weeks to go cookin' this boy!
Any bets on the weight of this guy?

I'll place my bets at 9lbs. I love the watermelon. Very creative. Good luck cooking him the next couple of weeks.

You look delicious!
I bet he out weighs Quinn, though I don't think you look that big.

Now that I'm Quinn's primary teacher I hear the most interesting things. Yesterday he mentioned that you were having a baby. He was so excited about it he didn't stop telling me all about it for like 5 minutes. It was so cute! I think he's excited to have a new baby brother!
