At the End of the Week...

It's been a rough week. Obama proposed to cancel the Constellation program so Brett may or may not be employed come fall, I ran out of my drug of choice, Dr. Pepper, Max got his SEVENTH tooth, we had 1-2 kids waking up nightly, two constantly runny noses, one huge mountain of laundry, that damn groundhog saw his shadow, and cabin fever is here to stay!

I've been grumpy and pessimistic and I need to get over it already. Today Brett uploaded the pictures from our camera and now I will proceed to address a few of the things that are good and sweet and wonderful in life... ...like this sweet face. Mmmm, I love this face.

Check out Max, "The Beav." And Brett thinks none of our kids will look like him! These are definately Daddy's teeth. I love seeing my guys together. I'll be honest, I also love handing the baby off and straightening my left arm occasionally too!

Today we went to Hardware Ranch. The weather was beautiful, the sun was shining, the kids laughed and played in the snow, we pelted Anna with snowballs, we saw elk, we ate bagels, we came home and played Wii and relaxed, it was a perfect Saturday.
My kids love their Daddy as much as I do. This is good. And sweet. And wonderful.
And, as small a thing as it is, Izzy got her first pigtails this week, she's growing up! Not only that, but she does laundry. No joke, she's a good tiny little helper.
I am blessed. Also, I have restocked my soda supply so no worries there!

What are your highs this week?

I am glad I am not the only grumpy one this week. I have lots to complain abt., however I will focus on the highs. I love the way Sienna and Juliette light up when their daddy comes home. I love how Sienna says "You came back" when I come home from work. I love how Juliette smells and how she lights up when i walk into a room. I love my girls.

I hear ya, the winter blues are getting to me too. I love the little pigtails on Izzy! She certainly looks like such a big girl with her hair that way. I love that hat on Max too.
I think the highlight of my day was after searching for Miriam's binkys for a half hour with her screaming and following me around I finally was inspired to ask Tabitha what was in this little box on the table next to her that the kids had been playing with. She opened it up and voila- 2 binkys! Boy that cheered Miriam up quick! It was pretty funny the instant change in her.

Wendy I love how transparent you are. Your blog is fun and refreshing. :) I hope that nothing bad happens in the fall, and that Brett can continue gainfully employeed.

Max has grown SO much! I think he does look like Brett! He and Izzy both are looking a little different from the bunch. My high has definitely been the weather this week! It's been between 66*-69* for the past week and I am loving it! Boy, between finding out we're going to move houses in two weeks, fighting two naughty children, and barely being able to bend down I sure needed the upper! :) And I have limited my Dr. P intake to once a weekend! Things could be worse my dear. :) I miss you.
